How God is using a historic flood to expand our
ability to nurture and grow the family of Christ.
When Tropical Depression Chantal left 3 inches of rainwater through out our entire building, we were stunned and unsure how we would recover. But as only God can, He turned this tragedy into an opportunity to do an amazing work in our church family.
Rather than just restore the building back to its current function, God has cast a vision in our church to improve the space, to make it more purposeful in worship, better at hosting the community around us, more capable of sharing the story of Christ's love.

A New Sanctuary: Gathering to proclaim God's glory and good news
Our new sanctuary is designed for Christ-centered worship—where God's Love and Truth is faithfully proclaimed, where we sing of the Grace and work of Christ's love for us. The new space will add capacity and improve the audio and video quality so more can hear the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
What We're Creating: A purpose-built sanctuary seating 135 (a 50% increase), an improved worship platform, improved sound and video systems, an ADA-compliant family bathroom, thoughtful finishes including slatted wood accents and quality flooring, and flexible space serving both Sunday worship and midweek ministry.
The Investment: The minimum to start the renovation is $140,000. If we raise additional funds, up to $165,000, we'll be able to upgrade the sound and AV systems, purchase additional chairs, and enhance finishes.

An improved Kitchen for hospitality and fellowship
Throughout Scripture, profound moments happen around food—Jesus breaking bread with His disciples, the early church devoted to fellowship and meals. Our enhanced kitchen will be a ministry hub where hospitality flows, where newcomers feel welcomed, and where relationships deepen over coffee and conversation.
What We're Creating: An open, inviting kitchen that flows into community spaces, supporting Sunday fellowship, weeknight discipleship, meals, and banquets where the grace of Christ is extended through hospitality.
The Investment: Restoring the kitchen to its current arrangement will cost approximately $9,000. By investing an additional $4,000 to $6,000, we can greatly improve the kitchen's function and aesthetics to better serve its role as the social hub of the church.

How to take part
This restoration and renovation will take the God given gifts and talents of many to be completed and there are multiple ways to support the work to be done.
- Pray for the church as we live in transition. Pray for the workers and the work to be done. Pray for wisdom to steward our resources as best we can. Pray that the space will become the blessing we hope it will be.
- Volunteer to take part in a work day. These will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
- Donate to help cover the costs and expenses. Prayerfully consider how you can give or pledge a gift to make this vision a reality. This could be a general donation to the Capital Campaign or if you have a passion for a specific part of the rebuild - the sound system, the kitchen, worship decor, etc. - you can designate to specifically support that effort.
Pledges are asked to be fulfilled by the end of 2027.
